The House Party is a unique experience that is tailor-made for Alexandria House's contemporary romance readers aka, the HOUSEmates. A five-hour literary event
(1 PM - 6 PM) with a ladies-only after-dark after-party (7 PM - 10 PM).
This event is for authors to mingle with readers, readers + authors to purchase items from vendors, experience self-care + sexual education activities (facials, massages, + more). In addition, there will be a DJ, a Photo Booth, a few Special Guests, Live Q+A, a bar, and giveaways. We are not only connecting readers + authors, but giving our attendees a hands-on experience of different elements that have been featured in Alexandria House novels (yes, there will be waist beads + pineapples lol.)

FAQs
What time does the event start?
The event starts at 1 PM. Please arrive early because there may be a line at check-in. The after-party is from 7 PM to 10 PM. You can leave and come back. In and out’s are okay.
What do I need to bring?
Cash/Card for vendors and authors and maybe a few surprises later. Also, make sure you have a VALID ID for check-in.
Parking or Uber?
There is a parking lot and parking is free. I would highly suggest rideshare: Uber or Lyft.
What airport should I fly into?
Hobby Airport is closer to the venue and downtown, however, Bush International may have better deals if you’re not flying Southwest.
Will alcohol be served?
Yes, there will be cocktails served with alcohol. For those who do not drink or not 21+, we will have a mocktail available, along with water and various sodas.
Are tickets available at the door?
No. Tickets will not be available at the door. If your name is not on the list, you will not be able to attend. If you bring an extra guest that does not have a ticket, they will not be able to attend. The event is currently SOLD OUT. Houston has a No-Mask Mandate, do I still need to wear a mask?
YES! Masks are required for the entire event. We will supply a branded mask and have plenty of disposable masks. You can take your mask off to eat, drink, and take photos at the photo booth.
Will there be food?
Yes! Food is included with your ticket purchase for both events (literary event + after-party).
What if I lose something?
You are responsible for all of your items. We will not have a lost and found.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes.
Are pets allowed?
No, unless it’s a service animal.
